Did I tell you guys about the time I put salt in my tea thinking it was sugar?

Anyway, after the salty rush I mean sugar rush I had on Saturday I decided to join some friends on what should be called a spiritual journey to the temple of the Gods called Basha Uhuru.. the feeling in the air? Electric.

Essentially the event (from what I understood) is about liberation through music (the mind which is the start point of all creation) in shaping the mind everything you see is only a result of your thoughts and only until the mind has achieved mental emancipation, Uhuru begins. It is only then that you realise the real lies of society. It was the message I heard throughout the event by performers which were BCUC, Blk Jks, Moonchild, Stogie T, Stilo Magolide and finally Thandiswa Mazwai.

Moving forward, Their message was delivered expertly at that - the entire crowd kept shouting chants of freedom, endless conversations about political freedom, social freedom and the topic of the day/night was the end of poverty. Personally those were things I constantly thought about are we free - mentally, socially, politically, spiritually? Are you happy with your life, are you satisfied with what you have in the current situation of life? What has mankind achieved that we can honestly boast of and dare call ourselves the greatest species on Gods green earth?

I found the event very informative you know what I mean? Oh I had some performances I went bonkers over to name mainly were BCUC, Blk Jks and.. totally loved Thandiswa Mazwai I think that was the highlight of the evening.

Last question I have for you all.

Hehehe
