Where can I find the dope man Part 1
By Coco
I thought about going back to my roots within the fashion world you know like where I was first exposed to it.. I mean everything is about culture and all, and where better to start with my journey down memory lane than going back way back in time.
I recently sat down with Scotch is Dope, The Founder and Creative Director of Designer Original Product Enterprise [DOPE store] .
Dope store was the first project for company Dope, which has been around for 7 years now [it is the first store I started shopping at when I move to Joburg ] I know I mentioned that already [giggles]. When it started - like any business their struggle was to get the word out about the store which was the first of its kind within the area [Marshall town] and has since been kicking.
Their clothing has appeared in videos of artist like Reason, Emtee, Boys n Bucks and many other majors dudes in the music industry.
That's pretty DOPE if you ask me [see what I did there?] damn Coco..
Moving along I thought I would catch him off guard by giving me a lil' insight on his future plans for the store, to which he replied ''..becoming more influential than we already are..''
