Adventures of Coco and Marion at Turbine Art Fair

By Coco
First things first I'd like to apologise for the delay.
In this article I thought should experiment a little I decided to give you a full written article with less pictures.

Try putting yourself in a blind man's shoes.. that's a world without images, It is the beginning of creation, a pure mind not influenced or corrupted by filthy images that stain its creative thinking and out of that pure thinking it formulates the highest vision - the greatest idea it has on a particular subject. Thinking isn't enough though, the blind man needs to act on that vision to make it come alive!
Ah, Th beauty of that vision!
Unfortunately he can not see the physical form of that creation, so he doesn't not place  judgement on it..instead feels his own creation.
''My - what a beauty you are.'' he says to this creature.

The is the embodiment of God, that is what it saw when it created. This is when you become a living - breathing version of your creation.

Prefrontal Cortex

Responsible for personality expression, decision making, and moderating social behavior.

Parietal Lobes

One involves sensation and perception and the other is concerned with integrating sensory input, primarily with the visual system. The first function integrates sensory information to form a single percept (cognition).

There's this one guy who always comes over to speak my father and gossip about what people in his area do during the day and night..

I don't like the way he stares at me.

But what I do like is what I saw - the work of the God's at Turbine Art Fair, I couldn't help but stare at
and shift perceptions to see, understand, and feel their creation (artist's).

JAG
(Johannesburg Art Gallery)
History is the most fundamental part of any culture and heritage..
Marion K Nowak (Who Cares Its Art) and I pop in to the grand master's dojo of art, Enter Francisco Goya and Diane Victor (our jaws drop) They say to us ''behold the world is your throne, the truth is your crown..wear it with pride'' and that tickled our frontal lobe - put on our crowns and enter the dojo!

So we leave the dojo and wonder off into the land of awesome..
We came across this..

We then spoke to Elton Faber of DF Contemporary who gave us a basket of knowledge, and in it he picked out works of art that were extraordinary.. really cool stuff or sad I'm not sure.. the subject matter was gorgeous by sight but extremely intense by understanding

*phew* we take a moment to stretch a little you know what I mean? To pull out a wedgie or something [well at least I did].

Moving a long we come across what I call ''Front Seat Of life'' the work shown there had a contrast between life and death, One wall filled with work by [Living Artist's] all around ..Pause... play the wall continues to a different phase of life which separates mortal from the immortal the Dead Artist wall (literally) had work from deceased artist who are considered masters .. ''being a deceased artist doesn't make you a master.'' what does I asked.. ''technique, subject matter and work ethic.'' - Ignatius Classen

Deep

Skipping through the forest over the hills we bump into the 'oh so beautiful' Blossom the co-curator at The Gavin Project. the 'Go-to' gallery for work by emerging artist's of Africa by the way..like the artist's blossom has an interesting background in fashion, Marion asked about the difficulty of being a curator with a fashion background which blossom answered to by saying ''Its difficult.. what we're taught at school limits us..'' which I feel many emerging artist's also go through and that sort of adds on to other things in our daily lives we're limited or boxed in, and the one most civilized and effective ways to express all that pressure is through art.

By the way I forgot to mention, My younger brother says '' ..I'll break up with my girlfriend..'' why I ask.. "For green pastures"  and he said that in his sleep.

Turbine Art Fair gave us an opportunity to learn, grow and find not only ourselves but everyone who participated in it. personal expression, information, and social acceptance are society really needs. It truly is the most life changing platform for all.

Extended appreciation goes out to Marion K Nowak for joining me on this adventure and the pictures.
